I loH

Hey!

Welcome to my blog. I’m a native New Yorker now living in the suburbs of Kansas city as a stay at home mom. I love to entertain and cook meals that are involved enough to fulfill my love of cooking and baking, but will also allow me to spend time with my family and friends. Enjoy!

Spicy Honey Pizza Drizzle

Spicy Honey Pizza Drizzle

I love drizzling this spicy honey on top of pizza and especially on fried chicken. You should know that my husband and I loveeeeee spicy and I mean like really spicy not pretend spicy. So this is a SPICY honey drizzle.

Ingredients:

16oz honey

7 habaneros, chopped

pinch of salt

Wash and dry a mason jar with hot water and soap. Place the chopped habaneros and honey in a small pot and heat over medium heat until very gently simmering. Lower the heat to low and keep an eye on it, making sure it only very gently simmers. Let it simmer for 10 minutes. If you have a thermometer, you don’t want it to go over 180F. After the 10 minutes, turn off the heat and add a pinch of kosher salt. Strain the honey into a clean and dry mason jar. Let fully cool, then cover and store in the fridge. Drizzle over your favorite pizza or eat with crackers and cheese! Enjoy!
